The Other Art Fair has been and gone and what a weekend it was! I have never exhibited at anything like this before so didn’t quite know what to expect. However, I am so glad I had this opportunity and was able to showcase my work in such a fun and relaxed environment. If you haven’t been, you should go!
It was also a fantastic opportunity for me to see all my pieces together, framed, and looking the best they could possibly look. The pieces that sold went to such lovely collectors that I couldn’t be more pleased.
My first sale was of 4 smaller framed seascapes from Morston Quay, which now happily sit together in their new home. I was so surprised when this lovely couple even bought me a glass of champagne as they realised they were my first sale. I was really very touched by such a kind gesture. I know it sounds daft but when your artwork goes to such lovely clients it really does help!
It was such a well organised event and it was wonderful to be surrounded by such talented artists, and to have time to chat to them and see such inspiring work all around me. The Other Art Fair helped raise my confidence and work out exactly where I want to be within the Art World. It also made me quite proud of what I’ve achieved so far this year.
Thank you to EVERYONE who came to see me, had a chat or just admired my work. Now got to get my head back down to prepare for Art Fair East in December…..
